Energy On Wisconsin is a collaboration of the State Energy Office (SEO) and University of Wisconsin Cooperative Extension. This partnership was established to further progress toward sustainable energy practices by Wisconsin communities, businesses, farms and the public with a grant from the US Department of Energy.
SEO and UW-Extension are working collaboratively to:
- Increase energy awareness, education and outreach on energy conservation and efficiency, renewable energy sources and systems, bioenergy and sustainable energy planning and policies
- Increase the opportunity for energy-related technical assistance for local unit of government, locally-owned businesses and the State’s residents
- Increase the likelihood of creating successful energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in the Wisconsin
