Each year the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) Energy Fair transforms rural Central Wisconsin into the global hot spot for renewable energy education. The Energy Fair brings over 18,000 people from nearly every state in the U.S. and several countries around the world to learn, connect with others and ready them for action at home. The Energy Fair is the nation's longest running energy education event of its kind.

The 10th annual Small Wind Conference will be held June 16–18, 2014 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, at the Holiday Inn and Conference Center. This event brings together small wind installers, site assessors, manufacturers, dealers and distributors, supply chain stakeholders, educators, public benefits program managers, and advocates—all working together to move the small wind industry forward.
The Conference precedes the Midwest Renewable Energy Association's annual Energy Fair held between June 20th and June 22nd in Custer, WI.

A webinar hosted by the Sustainable City Network features Suffolk County, NY - host to 12.8 MW of distributed solar PV as carports on six municipal parking lots, and will soon host 6.849 MW of ground mount arrays at its airport. It also has a dedicated capital budget line for energy efficiency projects, which it uses to green municipal buildings. The County Energy Director and Chief Engineer, Facilities Engineering Division will explain the County's multi-faceted approach, which has resulted in millions of dollars in energy savings and additional revenue to the County.
