Sheboygan Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant and its combined heat and power (CHP) turbines. With a total of 700 kilowatts of generating capacity from biogas produced from anaerobic digestion along with a combined heat and power system to generate electricity and heat, the plant generates more than three quarters of its annual energy needs.
