Ride with RENEW: Solar Bike Tour

Ride with RENEW
October 1, 2017
Spend one day visiting renewable energy installations by Riding with RENEW- a bike tour of renewable energy projects in northwest Dane County. The 22-mile bicycle tour will begin in Middleton, Wisconsin and include stops at:
- Sustainable Engineering Group's zero net energy office building, 
- Gundersen Health System and Dane County's biodigester,  
- MG&E's shared solar project, 
- Epic's Galactic Wind Farm, and 
- PDQ Middleton solar. 
The tour will conclude at the solar powered Capital Brewery.

MREA Solar Training Academy 2017

The Midwest Renewable Energy Association's (MREA) Solar Training Academy will be running January - May 2017, available in Milwaukee, the Twin Cities, Dubuque IA, and Normal IL. Students learn the full solar design and installation process in five weekends, along with professional networking opportunities. Upon academy completion, students qualify to sit for the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Associates Exam, an industry standard.
